I qualified as a midwife in 2011, then had my first daughter in 2016 and wow it was a shock! Despite all my knowledge about breastfeeding as a midwife I really struggled to get feeding established. That’s when I discovered the work and expertise of lactation consultants. Just before the birth of my 2nd daughter in 2019 I qualified as a lactation consultant. I work as a midwife in a busy London hospital and run my instagram account as a “hobby”. I’m now a mother of three and learn something new as a mother everyday
