Bump Plan Clinic — Baby Movement & Development (with April Toomey)

0 Comments January 22, 2026

With April Toomey, Highly Specialist Paediatric Physiotherapist (HCPC registered) This is a live, confidential, question-led clinic with April Toomey, a Highly Specialist Paediatric Physiotherapist(HCPC registered), with clinical paediatrics experience
dating back to 2012 and experience in children’s hospitals including Evelina Children’s Hospital (London).

April’s whole ethos is evidence-based, parent-centred, and designed to offload unnecessary worry and guilt — which, honestly, is worth its weight in gold.

What this clinic is (and isn’t):

• Not a presentation
• Not recorded
• Not about micromanaging your baby’s every movement
• Yes to practical guidance and calmer confidence

Bring questions on:

• developmental milestones (what matters, what doesn’t)
• tummy time — how to do it without everyone crying
• head shape concerns
• “Is my baby doing enough?” anxiety
• ways to encourage healthy movement through play
• what to watch for, and when to seek support
What you’ll get from attending

You’ll leave with:

• clarity on what’s normal (and what’s internet panic)
• simple, doable ways to support development without pressure
• confidence in what to focus on — and what to ignore
• reassurance that you’re doing better than you think
